Are you interested in helping to improve primary care services?

The Scottish Primary Care Research Network are looking to attract more members of the public to help improve research in Primary Care, find out more below.

Enthusiastic volunteers wanted to help us improve research into primary care. Do you have good ideas on what can really benefit patients?

What help do we need?
We would like to give you the opportunity to be part of a patient and public group looking at research into primary care. We are looking for enthusiastic members of the public to talk about possible topics for research and practical suggestions about how to recruit people to studies so that we ask the right questions about the GP service for all patients. You don’t need to have medical or scientific experience for this.
Participating would involve four meetings a year in the Glasgow area with 4 to 8 other people. If that is not possible, we can keep in touch by email or telephone. The group is organised by Tracy Ibbotson at the University of Glasgow. For an informal chat about the group or to take part in a meeting, call Tracy on 0141 330 8309 or by email tracy.ibbotson@

If you have queries or questions do contact Tracy Ibbotson directly on 0141 330 8309 or by email tracy.ibbotson@
